I'm posting my illustration for a very special 2011 calendar, for the association "
Sulle ali di un angelo Onlus". They are a group of volounteers who try to help parents struggling with a loss of their child.
It is a very difficult and delicate issue and the organizer of this year's calendar wanted some illustrators to contribute with an illustration to give some hope to these people.
So with this illustration I tried to focus on how nature "works". When it is raining, usually everybody is kind of sad, but in the reality with this rain a small flower can start to bloom, and slowly the raindrops can colour also the field, and everything can be greener and happier.
Thanks to Roberta for calling me to do this illustration.
Also thanks to
Anna and Vittorio, for their contribution to this project!

P.S: Do you see the sea turtle? :)
